As Eve developed her business (Affirmative Ascension) she had the opportunity to meet several talented local Kootenay women who were on the same inspirational and motivational Path. Humorphosis received a boost when several of these women agreed to facilitate portions of the workshop. Norma Kilpatrick, also known as the Grand Dam of Ham, named her part of the workshop, “Improv Yourself! Norma is a great fit for Humorphosis because her special passion is teaching interactive theater with emphasis on self expression, building group co-operation and self confidence. Because Humorphosis deals with increasing Self Confidence and challenging limiting beliefs, Eve has included the arts to assist in accomplishing this mission. Arts, such as theater, comedy, singing, drumming and dancing are important components of Humorphosis.
Therefore, we are extremely glad to have Norma Kilpatrick on board. She has been directing, producing and performing theatrical events for over 20 years. Norma will be leading us through many theatrical forms of expression to help us expand our sef confidence. Her natural way of gently moving people out of their comfort zone is only one of her greatest gifts.
Along with facilitating this workshop, Eve will be leading us through various simple, yet fun dances. She taught dance for many years and studied meditation and guided visualization. Presently she is also learning how to intigrate Chakra Sound Healing which produces healing, relaxation and alignment.
For the rest of our energy work we are blessed to have Camille Roberts on board. She has been a nurse for over twenty years and now teaches a modality called Therapeutic Touch. Camille will teach us how to heal with energy by using this modality. Along with her teachings she will incorporate some playfullness with energy patterns that we are all familiar with. Each lady has a unique talent that will prove to make this workshop fun enlightening event a success. Be prepared to laugh until you cry, and cry until you laugh.
Eveline Werner
First and foremost, Eve is the mother of four fabulous children and the grandmother of five. She is a grief counselor and life coach with a BA in Women’s and Evolutionary Psychology. Presently she is enrolled in Spiritual Studies through the Academy of “Sisters in Celebration” Over the past two years she is in the process of expanding her own business “Affirmative Ascension” which is a service for women provided by women, offering yearly retreats, seminars, workshops, counselling and life coaching.
Also, for many years she taught fitness and aquatic classes, and in her spare time she was a dance instructor. While in the fitness field Eve learned how to guide people through visualization exercises, creating safe space for guided meditation and using affirmations to create positive change. For over ten years she worked in group homes and care facilities providing support to people with disabilities and care for those with brain injuries. Eve and her husband, David, provides care for people with disabilities within their own home on a continuous basis.
For fun, she loves to cook for large groups with special dietary needs. She enjoys writing short stories and poems, singing, dancing, facilitating women’s workshops and is looking forward to learning how to drum as well as how to act.
Eve is now integrating her combined skills to Facilitate women’s prosperity consciousness workshops and retreats. Humorphosis is her creation, designed to help women increase self confidence through humor and the arts. Eve also challenges limiting beliefs that prevent us from being happy. Once these negative beliefs have been identified, they are set free and replaced by positive beliefs that raise our self confidence. This in turn inspires positive thought and creative action. Thus, it helps us manifest our dreams with certainty and laughter.
